Erik Gough grew up in Pacifica, California and has worked in hospitality most of his life. Before joining the team at San Francisco Wine Society, Erik spent eight years at The Village Pub Woodside, a one Michelin star restaurant with a Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning wine list. Erik passed his level 2 CMS sommelier certification in 2012. Erik loves enjoying wine by itself or paired with food and has always had a passion for the industry and a love of working with people. In his free time Erik enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
